idler

Forum:

need to replace the steering idler in my f78 anybody know the best way to go about it?

It is dead simple, you simply

It is dead simple, you simply detach the idler from the steering arm, then undo the 23mm nut on top of the idler arm and undo the mounting from the chasis and it will come out.
But I got a replacement from Milner Offroad and the main bolt had to be pressed into the arm it was an exceptionally tight fit. I would recommend you get the entire arm rather than just the bush as it looks very difficult to just change the bush
