31/11.5/15 tyres on my 7.5j wheels. will they fit ok?

Forum:

will 31/11.5/15 tyres fit on my 7.5J alloy wheels??

31/[u]11[u/].5-15's? Do you

31/[u]11[u/].5-15's? Do you mean 31/10.50-15's? If so then yes. They will rub the chassis (& springs if it's a leaf sprung model) if you don't lift the body a couple of inches. Though this will not cause any real problems, some people are bothered by it.

Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.

31.10.50-r15

had a set of bronco rough riders fitted to mine rather than the standard 255.70-r15. couldent ask for better offroad traction but has killed the fuel econemy a bit with the higher gearing losing about 40 miles per tankfull over the standard tyre.;)

tyres

have run 31x10.50's for 3 years , just back off full lock, otherwise fine. look good and fill the arches fine.
