HI EVERYONE I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS SIGHT FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW AND I THINK IT'S FANTASTIC, SO HATS OFF TO ALL WHO MAKE THIS SITE POSSIBLE, AND IF THERES ANY SUPPORT I CAN THROW YOUR WAY PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW. ANYWAYS I HAVE A SMALL PROBLEM MY 91 SPORTY HAS FUEL LINES WHICH MORE ROTTEN THAN A 1987 FORD ESCORT, IS IT PERMISSIBLE UNDER VEHICLE INSPECTORATE GUIDELINES TO REPLACE THE EXISTING RUST WITH RUBBER PETROL PIPE, THERE NOT QUITE LEAKING YET SO WONT FAIL THE MOT BUT I WANT TO SORT IT ANYWAY, I JUST DONT WANT PAY STUPID MONEY AT THE LOCAL RIP OFF MERCHANTS TO HAVE THEM MADE. ANY HELP ON THIS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.....MANY THANKS DEAN

I replaced mine (all three) with plastic pipe, it has to be capable of withstanding injection pressures though, just make sure you buy the right sort.

Rotten Fuel Pipes
I have had a complete nightmare with my fuel line, twice i have had leaks and am taking itto my bro in laws garage this wkend to get it sorted for the third time!!!
It is leaking just under the tank (above the rear driver side wheel strut!!!???) I have had the pipe cut away and had it replaced with a rubber fuel pipe and a cpl of clips
Is it easy to replace the piping and how is it done???
