Does anybody know of a source of headlamp rims for F50's. My fathers plastic bodied version is suffering from terminal rot in the chrome outer rims which hold the lights in - can't find any replacements so the lights wobble about. I assume they're the same as the normal F50. Thanks.

They could be, but if memory serves only the very early F50's had crome headlight surounds (1970's). The lights could be mini, or landrover though. These are the same size, and had crom surounds later than the F50. However I'm fairly sertain that all of these had a second (non decorative) ring under the crome one which actually held the light in place.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
