hi i had this problem on my fourtrak its one of three things its either a flow problem and the heater matrix needs flushing through . The thermostat needs replacing or the viscos coupling on the fan is old and is over cooling the engine covering half the radiator in winter helps . But even all this didnt get the heaters red hot in me truck ! if this helps jakesy.
