Daihatsu or not?

Forum:

I'm looking for a mini 4x4 - I think so far I have found myself an F20, old and in need of restoration but something that should be alot of fun. My question is: Is the F20 also known as a Pampas or is a Pampas totally unrelated? I've scoured the 'net for Pampas sites but to no avail. If you know of any such sites a link would be very much appreciated. Either way I'll hopefully still get the F20. Despite the girlfriends "displeasure"!! Cheers, Matt. The name pampas doesnt ring a bell. But the F20 is knon as a TAFT if thats any help. Do a google image search for Daihatsu F20 or Taft, and see if they are the same.

I think I've sussed it! Pampa

I think I've sussed it! Pampas' were made in Portugal by Portaro. As rust boxes, seldom do they survive but here's a link to something very similar if any one's interested: http://www.crosslander.com/ (Cant seem to find a pampas site, few exist like Pampas's I expect!)
