Sporty suspension lift basic principles advice needed

having read most of the threads about suspension lifts I have bought some larger wheels 32"x 12.5" and am intending to do the suspension lift on my 1991 sporty. Can someone tell me is it a case of winding up the torsion bars at the front and increasing the length of the rear mounting plates only of the rear leaf springs by 4" to get a 2" lift(if that makes sense)or do I have to raise the front mountings on the leaf springs too. I dont want to get it wrong and cause any problems. Some help from you experienced guys would be appreciated
