Forum:
I have noticed over the last few days that every now and then, while accelerating in 4th gear, the clutch tends to slip.
It only happens in 4th, which I assume is because 4th takes direct drive from the engine, hence more torque.
I looked underneath at the adjusting nut, and it is right in the middle of the threaded bar.
How much should I unscrew it by?
I just don't want to get to the point in the future where the rivets in the plate start to damage the flywheel when it wears down.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Take it back 3/4 inch initial
Take it back 3/4 inch initially and see how you get on.
