I have had a 1998 Avanzato for the last 3 years.It is an original UK supplied car(Woodford Motor Co) and I have yet to see another.I am curious to know how many they are left.Mine is original spec and has done 19000 miles to date.

I'm told there's 88 UK faceli
I'm told there's 88 UK facelift R4s IN ADDITION to the ones in the Daihatsu Challenge. At least 2 have been taken to bits for parts, I would guess at least 10 have been crashed or scrapped out of that 88 too. I imagine a few have in time been converted to more rally cars too and inevitably crashed and used for parts.
There's also at least one red prefacelift R4 used as a press car (had made-up registration on photos but an identical one was for sale a few years back on eBay), a Mira RV4 press car (still taxed so out there somewhere), a prefacelift Mira L200 TR-XX Avanzato press car (no idea). And 50 Mira Classic Turbos (at least one scrapped).
On the private import side, there's a white Avanzato R (FWD) for sale somewhere, a few private import L200 TR-XXs, an L200 TR-4 (TR-XX with 4 wheel steering) and no doubt all kinds of L500 imports lying around somewhere.
Comprehensive enough?
