Feroza Dash Removal - 4 to 5 page help document

Forum:

I now own a 1993 Rocky Sports Wagon and am very pleased with it.
My Dad now drives my 1992 Feroza and needs to replace the water heater. I read on this site a few days back that there is a 4 or 5 page document with tips/directions to removing the dash which a member compiled. If any reader can access this and post it to me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thankyou.

Does this help.......

If ferrosa is same as sportrak then removal is fairly easy but time consuming. Remove both front seats before you start. If the instrumentation is the same as a sporty, there are hidden screws behind the central 'dials/clocks'. Your will need to prise away the surround to find the screw. Other hidden screws are behind the windscreen air outlets - again prise away the surrounds to reveal the hidden screws. The remainder are obvious ... bolts at each side by door pannels and another below the dashboard/baulkhead.
Take car when lifting/pulling away the dashboard. Lots of wire and heater switches to damage. You can access the heater unit just by lifting the dash, do not remove it from the car : lift/suport whole dashboard onto wood blocks so you can access the heater unit. On UK models the matrix slides from the heater unit to the R/H sidelooking towards the windscreen.
NB .. detach the heater pipes on engine side of balkhead.
