I thought I would give an update on my Sporty whilst also asking for some help.
Having now returned from Iraq with a head full of ideas about what to do to my sporty, I have now set about carrying out some of the work. The carpets, rear seats and mudflaps have all gone now and home-made extended rear mud flaps are now in place which can be tied up for off-road use. New knobbly tyres all round have helped me complete a couple of circuits of the Army driver training route with impressive results. Rear light guards are fitted but I am still desperate for a front bull-bar without the need to pay 142 quid for a new one. Also, wheel spacers are needed to widen the track for a bit of extra stability. If anyone can help with the bull-bar or spacers I will be eternally grateful. Meanwhile, I will continue with the engine work and modifications that I have thought of to enhance the vehicles offroad capabilities. Many thanks & have fun!!!
