Firstly many thanks to Lurch for location of interior light/clock/rear door lock fuse.All systems are now go. As I am a recent purchaser of a 4trak I have been trying to obtain a w/shop manual,but the only ones I have found for sale are for the F70,F75+F77. My 4trak is a F78 1995 M reg.Does anybody know if the w/shop manual for F70,75+77 would be correct for a F78 or does the F78 have its own w/shop manual? Also does anyone recomend the best manual to buy

From what I gather over the years Daihatsu simply added the model numbers to the service manual and updated the relevant sections. From what I gather from F78 owners who have bought the service manual thats for sale on the site. The manual covers everything on the F78 apart from the suspension.
There are 2 places to buy the CD version. 1 version is from this site which has the chapters split into pdf files and you print the chapter or selection of pages you want. Other version on sale elsewhere on the web each page (all 1000+) are individual jpeg images.
The other difference is that the CD's i sell the money goes on paying to keep the site running. The sites doesn't have banners, popups, or a membership fee, and is hosted on a decent server. The other all of it goes into someones pocket to fund terrorism, drug dealing, arms deals, and the violent murders of puppies and kittens.

The CD manuals for Sportak is £15 and same also for Fourtrak manual. You can get both manuals on 1 CD for £25.

Hi Bob..cant offer any advice i,m afraid, but i,m in same position, got a 95 Independent tdx, so if youve any joy, i,d be interested in doing the same. Hope u enjoy yours as much as I have over the past 5 years i,ve had it..never once has it let me down, and its taken me all over the UK on various trips..camping etc, with many miles off road.Cheers..Colin
