ive just changed the engine in my 95 sporty efi, ive put an engine out of a 98model in there, now i have very little mechanical knowledge, i managed to change the engine with out any probs plus replaced head gasket and other gaskets. now what i would like to know it do these engines run at high pressure? when you take the oil cap of is it sucking air? and also there is a lot of heat generated ontop of my rocker cover is this normal?, to hot too touch after a 15 min ride, my temp gauge sits just under the half way point after 5 mins of use and doesnt move of that point, is this likely to be a timing prob or something more sinister cheers oz.
