Tyre Sizes

Forum:

I've owened a 1993 sportrak for about 5 years, when I brought it the tyres fitted where General Grabbers AT. The car handled ok but a little odd at times, I put this down to the tyres being a little big (235,70,15) they only just missed the wheel arches.
I've just changed the tyres to General Grabbers 225,70,15 AW all season, what a differance it steers better it does'nt jump all over the road , I wish i'd changed them 4 years ago.

I've gone from a 225/70R15 Br

I've gone from a 225/70R15 Bridgestone D682 (a highway tyre) on standard rims to a Cooper A/T in 235/70R15 on 15X7 rims and found a huge improvement. The handling and grip has improved, they're quieter and the ride is better. Off road there's no comparison. Smile
