Hi, All,
I need to find a replacement for my F20 carb as its getting a little tired after 23 years pumping fuel! The chances of me finding a Daihatsu part are pretty limited, so does anybody have any idea of what other carbs will work - and hopefully, just bolt on without having to make up plates and stuff to make it fit?

Don't know if it just bolts straight on, but I do know that a Webber off of a 1600 escort does the job. And guess what it'll give you better fuel return, and less splutering nonsence if you start going up off road type hills too.
Any veiws expresed in this thread by me are purely from my own experience, and (sometimes) falible memory. Hope my comments help, but please don't take them as gospel.
