Im new to the fourtak world and have recently bought a 1989 Fourtrak EX Turbo Diesel 2765cc. Turns out it has a worn ring gear. Have been told that I need a new flywheel/ring gear unit and been quoted some big prices for supplying and fitting. Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.
Due to old age bit beyond me to do this job myself so if there is anyone in Norfolk, UK, around the Kings Lynn/Norwich area who either has the part or is willing to do the job at reasonable cost please get in touch.
