Does anyone know what causes the turbo light to actuate on a FT 2.8TD? Mine comes on bright at about 1500rpm. Is this right or too low?

Turbo light
Yo Pedro,
I have the same experience at 2000 RPM but noticed that the actual turbo power increase only starts at 2500 RPM.
Did not yet figure out how it all works but I'm more interested in how to bring in the turbo power at around 2000 RPM where I need him the most.
Hope that some one can give us a clue how to go from here.

Just buy the Cd manual from LurCh and you will find all about the turbo and how to check and adjust it.
