Hi Madriver, I have a 1990 G reg sportrak with HDC carburettor engine and it runs fine on unleaded fuel. We cant get leaded fuel here in Orkney.Hope this helps your query.
Fuel
Your Sportrak should run fine on unleaded petrol. Its usually alternating between both which could cause problems. The longterm effect is that the headgasket could go sooner. However we are still years in that sense so running cars on unleaded still works as the cheaper option
