hi guys, the fuse for my back lights keeps blowing as anyone else had this problem, also at about the same time lights on dash havestopped working 'clocks, heater panel' any idea why they would go too or know where the fuses are for them, i have a 93' fourtrak (old shape)
any help much appricieated
Dodgy towbar electrics
Our Fourtrak had very dodgy wiring for the towbar electrics - the person fitting it had spliced the wires onto the nearside tail lamp unit without using any insulation - so maybe check that!

i have a sportrak, so not too sure on fourtrak mechanics
. but my windscreen wiper fuse kept blowing wenever i turned me wipers off. no good in showery intervals! worked out it was how i was turning them off. i was pulling the wiper lever up to quick and for some reason this kept blowing the fuse. just have to take it slow.
if you can't find any over problem, it might just be a bad connection somewhere, or a wire has worn thru the plastic insulator and is shorting somewhere on the body?my clock lights not working either but am unsure what bulb it needs.
don't know if this will help but most of my sportrak fuses are in the drivers footwell, and some more are under the bonnet, but again, im not sure on a fourtrak.
