Hi there,
I am afraid you have to do that. I have four or five pages description of it.

Leaking Heating system
Hej Per,
I have a similar problem, the whole car is standing full with water coming from the heater. Not using the heater helps a bit. I fear that the workshop did not anticipate I would be in Austria with a minus 15 degree temperature. (In the garage...)
Could you send me those 4-5 pages on heater/dash removal; I would like to give it a try myself before spending money. eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%67%65%65%72%74%62%6f%65%64%74%40%61%6f%6e%2e%61%74%22%3e%67%65%65%72%74%62%6f%65%64%74%40%61%6f%6e%2e%61%74%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b'))
Does anybody know if it would harm just to tap the in/out tubes from the engine to the heater or would it affect the cooling of the engine? (Untill I find a replacement)
Tack och hej

Heater
Hi Geert,
If you mean tap the water, you can`t. What you can do is to block them and this would not hurt the system at all. Maybe you can use the rear heater in the mean time.

Per.
PS. I will send what I can find.
