Hey all,
Just bought myself a sportrak & am planning to start greenlaning/off roading.
the chassis is a little rusty & i am planning to wire brush it off & paint it. i have heard hammorite is a no-no cos it is brittle, some have mentioned Red oxide primer or Zinc Phosphate primer then a coat or 2 of exterior gloss?????
also it has alloy wheels, i no i have to uprate the tyres but do i have to get steel rims?? is there any differences??
any other info u can throw my way would be much appreciated with things to look out for

Alloy rims are not a problem.
Alloy rims are not a problem. Depending on if your planning to just use it as a toy, or as a car as well you might want to invest in a second set of wheels for your off road tyres. Is up to you how serious your planning to go. As for underside protection, you cant beat waxoil.
