ANYONE HAD TROUBLE GETTING VYNIL OFF????!!!!!!?????

The answer is very simple. You need;
A PLASTIC scraper - it must be plastic.
A bottle of Meths - (NOT for drinking- it's 'orrible)
A bottle or two of cheap NAIL VARNISH REMOVER - ie Tesco's own - don't buy fancy one's they are no better.
A heat gun or GOOD hairdryer.
Use the hairdryer or hot air gun to warm the vynil - it will eventually crinkle at the edges. Once it does this you can peel most of it off.
Use the plastic scraper if you don't (like me) have any fingernails.
Once you have removed all the bits - relatively easy - you will be left with lot's of goo.
Using an old sock/tee shirt - whatever it must be SOFT and not scratch your paint--- apply geneous amounts of NAIL VARNISH REMOVER to the gunky areas - a small bit at a time.
Give it 2 mins - then use the meths to "wash" off the softened goo.
It WILL still require some elbow grease and you will go through a few rags, but it is the easisest method I have found over the years.
I have just removed 2 x 400mm long Dragons completely in about 15 mins!!
