hi all any advise greatfully received, looking at making a serious off roader

suspension lift and tyres,
suspension lift and tyres, snorkel, extended breathers for axles, transfer box, gearbox. Front and rear recovery points. Also make sure you have the wheels with the wider offset - steel wheels are +/- 0, I think most alloys are -40mm, this increases the track by 40mm each side.
You cant waterproof it very well, its a petrol with a distributor, so you can only do so much.

oh yeah - forgot to mention
oh yeah - forgot to mention you should upgrade your battery to a bigger one, and if you are fitting a winch put an auxilliary one in.
I fitted 2 80amp batteries in mine
