I have a '93 Daihatsu Hijet 4x4. The heat sensor in the radiator. stopped working and I've replaced it with an other one from a Ford car. The new sensor only worked for about one day and stopped. I've noticed the wiring from the truck is about two times as heavy as the wiring from the heat sensor. Could the Truck have the sensor on a higher amp power wire and could that be buring out the sensor that may not be designed for a higher amp load??? Need to know before I buy another heat sensor for the rad.
