Is it easy to do??
Have a small patch of rust bubbling the paint just under the rear door glass seal. want to get to it before it blows through. Ideally, need to remove the glass/rubber seal.
Can it be done by a partial numty?

our f reg is just held in by
our f reg is just held in by the rubber... basically just a H section , not done one of these but ive done others with a couple of screwdrivers (bicycle tyre levers would work aswell) and fairy liduid to lubricate.
basically take the glass and rubber out together by levering the rubber through the door , start at one corner and work round.
a second pair of hands maybe helpful to ensure you dont drop the glass.
haynes manuals ( mk 2 escort age) used to give details on how to fit windscreens using a piece of string to refit the rubber.
