Hi there,
the manifold on my 1998 avanzato TR-xx R4 (JB-JL engine) has recently developed a crack. Im a bit unsure as to what to do about it now. Is it worth trying to get it welded by a specialist or is it prone to re-cracking?
The other option I have is to get another one fabricated by a company who makes them. Does anyone have any experience of this for any vehicle and is it expensive?
My last option would be to get a second hand one but i doubt ill be able to source one anywhere unless anyone has any ideas?

Hi Gary nice to know somebody else has had this problem,Mine did the same cracked in 4 places,I took the manifold off and had it specialist welded.Didnt think it would last but tried it,as a new one from the dealers is 340 + vat.Has been done now for over 3 years and still holding up.Hope this helps Mick49
