I've got a really nice Daihatsu charade 1.6 16v DetoMaso on an l reg that reluctantly I must sell. Its a very clean example inside and out with just 54,000 on the clock. I was planning to get her on the road until I recieved points on my liscence from my curent car leaving me with a fine and un insurable. I hope this rare little gem goes to a good home though. A bit about the car: It is a metalic black genuine deto maso 1.6 16v automatic model with red carpet and recaro interior. It has had a red parcel shelf with charade put in the rear, apart from that everything is as it should be and standard. The body is very nice and rust free and the interior is very clean with just the cowling under the steering column missing. Now, she drives well and the engine runs up with no smoke, rattles or oil leaks. It holds perfect temperature all the time. I am a training mechanic myself so know a bit about cars. The previous owner had the gearbox rebuit with a new bearing and gearbox sensor fitted. The car drives and selects gears but only changes up the box. you have to turn it off and on to select 1st again. I dont know if this is a problem with the box or the sensor and is pretty much all she needs to get going. It has not been mot'd in a while and has been dry stored.
