In all the researches done on the forum on lubricant for caliper slider pins I can't believe that I never thought to consult my YRV manual..... and there is the Daihatsu recommendation.

Mintex Cera Tec, designed for this task will do the job perfectly as it is a silicone based grease. Probably any silicone grease will do as it satisfies the high temperature/waterproofing requirement. Rubber grease seemed to me to be second best, but not according to Daihatsu.
