Hi Guys ,
I`ve busted my gearbox on my 84 rocky / fourtrak that is using a 3Y motor , does anyone know the gearbox model or any similar gearbox model from toyota that would direct fit on to the existing 3Y motor & transfer case ?. Im having a hard time looking for a second hand box and most workshops ask for the gearbox model . Really appreciate it any one could shed some light !.

Don't know about other cars, but the Diesel (F70, 73, 75, 78) gearbox will fit if you change the bell housing and input shaft over. The transfur ratios are diffrent though I belive, so you may wish to keep old transfure. Do a serch on the site for info as there are many posts on this subject.
