Is it possible to fix the plastic arch covers used on TDX models to the steel arches of a Fieldman. I have a year 2000 Fourtack TDL Fieldman and the edges of the rear wheel arches has suffered some corrosion. I thought (!?) that a simple solution might be to cut away the corroded edge of the arch, treat and paint the remainder and then fix (glue) a set of plastic arch covers which I could probably find at a breakers.

Question is; will these just fit on top of the existing Fieldman arches?

Any advice or even alternative practical solutions will be gratefully received. Cheers, Terry
