Not really an event or get together but fun nevertheless.

The link is for a map to a disused ash tip from the old power station at Keadby, on the A18 just west of Scunthorpe.

I have never been challenged on this site and although it's really dusty, with no water dips, it's fun to try.

Head for Scunthorpe on M180, take M181-Jct3. At R/B, turn left onto A18. Go over Keadby bridge and turn right into Keadby. Follow the road, over a drain and look for CHAPEL LANE on the left. Just follow this road and turn right at the rail crossing and you'll see the ash tip about half a mile on the right.

Alternatively, head for Scunthorpe on A18 from doncaster side and when you hit Keadby, head straight on into village instead of going over the bridge.
