f 20 front disc brakes ?

hi guys

just wondering if the later f 20's had disc brakes cause my 1980 chassis has drums alround n i wanted to upgrade to discs or even discs alround the car if possible cheers

Discs on F20

Discs were fitted to the front of the F20 from 1983 to 1984 when the F20 became the foutrak. Discs are the same as the sportrak non-vented ones, calipers are different but fourtrak ones can be made to fit.

Rears were always drums but can be converted relatively easily with a bit of DIY engineering using Suzuki SJ410 front discs and calipers from the rear of a Rover 820.

If you search the archived posts on this forum there is a lot of info on the rear disc conversion. I've done it myself so I know it's not too hard to do.

f20 disks

Regarding your f20 disks,i fitted disks to the frount of my one some
time ago useing parts from a early fourtrack if i rember i used the
caliper and its mounting bracket and the disks and fitted it on,i
allso coverted it to a desiel engine later.i have since got a further
f20 to restore.
