Forum:
Hello,
I have a 2007 Sirion 1.3L Auto. I recently took it in for a check up and they guy there told me that the battery needed to be changed, however he not only wanted almost $300 for it, but also wanted to saw part of the seat off to house the larger replacement battery.
So here is my question. where can I buy a battery that fits into the original seat (for insurance purposes) and for cheap in the U.S.?
Right now I am looking at Amazon and am completely lost by all the different batteries.
Thanks in advance.
If the same as the YRV then....
If the battery is the same size as the Daihatsu YRV then you are looking for a type 054 battery. I have just bought a new one for my YRV turbo which is a Varta Blue ASIA, product code A14. This battery has the Japanese smaller terminals as well.
Looking at this website:

I just put in the car make of Sirion 1.0 -1.3 and came back with the same type I have just bought.
Another site also brought back the same;
