Forum:

hi wondering if anyone has the jet size for a sporty as have fitted a ford xr2 twin choke having a bit of trouble getting it to run right with regards to it reving up is laboured but if i close the auto choke a little (ie reduce the air for a split second) it revs fine so assuming the main jets are are not putting enough fuel in

If you have changed the carb

If you have changed the carb there is only one real option, you will need it on a rolling road to get it jetted correctly. This is an expensive procedure, and any other carb will not work correctly, even with the same jets as the original carbs.

Should run ok with any carb

Should run ok with any carb really if jetted right used to make up manifolds to convert inj to carb on bangers all the time but just need a base line jet size to start with then I can just fine tune
