Wire/Connector - 4Trak F73

Forum:

Greetings drivers,

This post to ask if anybody can tell me what these 2 connectors are, on the pictures you should get with the following links.
They are in the engine bay, one right under the fuel filter, one by the battery tray.
One is completely cut off, the other is disconnected.
I have never noticed them before.
I recently did a fuel filter change and I wonder if the mechanic didn't just cut off that blue one for some unknown reason (just speculating...)

The connectors will show circled in red in the photos.
The links:

Thank you in advance to those who will take some time to read the post.
And Happy New Year.

first thing, shoot the mechanic

if it didnt break accidentally then someone cut the filter wire plug that detects excess water build up in the fuel filter (first pic), you unclip the plug before you undo the filter, as for second pic, cant tell, bit unclear. spots? power?

Full of ideas but no time to do them!!

Fuel Drain Warning?

I was told the first one could simply be a splice additional connector for something that had been removed, and to not worry about it. But it's good to have another opinion.
But then, the plug to detect excess water build up is probably the correct answer, as I had never noticed this connector just hanging there before the last filter service.
As for the second picture with the smaller black connector, here is what I can come up with after looking at a wiring diagram:

Picture attached (connectors circled in red)

It seems to be the fuel drain warning connector (I am only assuming by comparing the position of the connector on that picture to that of the one I was asking about).
I don't know if anybody can confirm or not?

Thanks a lot "if there's mud...".
Cheers.

Rectification

Actually, the image attached to the previous post seems to show exactly this connector that allows to detect excess water in the fuel (same as the "Fuel Drain Warning" as designated in the wiring diagram?).
Excuse the mix up.
So the question for the second, smaller, black connector in the second picture of the original post still stands. Will take a better look at it, see where it's coming from, and also take a clearer picture to show.

Cheers.
