In case you haven't got an Owner's Manual either, it tells you that you should have three keys....a black master key that you should treasure and two grey keys which are for everyday use. If you need to replace a grey key you need to take the master key with you. These keys are linked by internal chip to the immobiliser system.
Your remote entry key fob is a separate item which clips to your keyring.
None of these items is inexpensive to replace.
On a separate issue the rear-end handling of the standard YRV is atrocious but can be massively improved by the addition of the rear anti-roll bar from the Turbo version. The fixing holes are already in place. It takes 10 mins to fit. Daihatsu Dave on this website is breaking a Turbo and will have one available!

The only key I have is the black one soI best get one extra made!!

Maybe Daihatsu Dave has one from his breaking Turbo.
There are plenty of CD Workshop Manuals available, starting with on this site, but no idea where you might get an Owner's Manual other than through a Daihatsu dealer and likewise with the grey keys because of the immobiliser facility and of course the fob.
You may be able to get bare keys cut at car key specialists, but although they'd fit the lock and could open and lock the doors they probably wouldn't start the car.

Replacement keys
I had lost my master key, and only had one grey one - disaster! Then I came accross Mister Minit who were able to make another key from my grey one. Yes and it worked, not only on the doors but also ignition! Much cheaper than a replacement from Daihatsu.

I have finally got a remote sent too me from a breaker. Im not sure if they have sent me the correct thing/ one??
The one i have has a rubber strap on it which connects too a key ring or keys and has 3 buttons??
I thought they only had two buttons as my owners handbook shows.
Can anyone send me a pic or two of an original remote so I can compare?
