The engine is a Toyota 12R unit used in the early Hi Lux and Hi Ace commercials, and the gearbox id a Toyota commercial unit with a Daihatsu transfer case.

Most problems will be with the bodywork and you will have to make or repair many panels suffering from tinworm. Corrosion is the biggest factor, and i made most of mine instead or repairing them as they are simple panels.

Most mechanical components are available from the Toyota parts bin, or from motor factors. It may take a little mixing and matching though.
