Bought one of the 2 from DaihatsuDave. First Impressions are it's good, and have noticed a 1-2 degree drop in temperature when driving with the scanguage 2 as a reference. Doesn't stop the temps from raising when in standing traffic though Sad But the fan takes less time in whirring when it does to bring that temp down. Smile

Also changed the water pump by buying one off DaihatsuDave, and good job I did as the old one was showing signs of leaking Sad

Very nice Jon, any improvement on the horrendous temps the YRV Turbo has to endure is a bonus. Also looks a lot nicer too! Interesting to her about the water pump; was it an easy job for who ever did it? How many miles has yours done now?

Cheers Wayne. I beleive the water pump is a nightmare if you have big hands. All in all the whole job took 5 hours to do by a mechanic at my local Daihatsu servicing and parts place.
My car is over 7 years old and is fast approching 40K.
