Could be. What make are they?
Could be. What make are they? If it was me I would stick with the NGK ones or try Denso ones. Just out of a matter of interest what does the rev counter do when you are stopped? Only reason I ask is that the engine may be compensating by drawing in more fuel.

sorry took so long to answer dont have a rev counter and im unsure what make of plugs are in I recently spoke to a friend who suggested that the long life plugs have more than one side electrode and I should replace Ive now got a set of champions that only have one electrode so i,ll try them in, the halfords i went to could only offer long life NGKs.
