hi i bought a 1999 terios and im having a few problems

when i slow down to nearly zero or trying to park reversing the engine dies it starts again when i turn the key ive had kwik fit look at it and they said its something to do with the immobiliser?

also when i rev theres a kinda swishing noise from under the dash board???

hope someone can help cos i love the car
