I've got a 2010 Piaggio Porter but it's production date is 2008/2009 (you can tell by some of the date stamps on the parts).

I was told by a main dealer in the UK that Piaggio had lost the right to sell 4 wheeled vehicles in the uk due to Red tape legislation that they had not completed in time. So instead of paying a fine they decided to concontrate on bikes and 3 wheeled vans.

I have spoken to loads of Dihatsu & Piaggio dealers trying to find someone to service my van or to supply parts but as soon as you say its a hijet or Porter van they don't want to know saying they stopped dealing with those vehicles several years ago.

I assume you can still get one from an other country and import it in tho?
