Forum:
Ive been trying to remove the wiper arms from my 1998 cuore to respray them. I have the service manual from here and it says just remove the one top bolt and the arm comes off. Ive removed the bolt, but even with using a screwdriver for leverage they wont budge. Do i just need to pull harder? Im concerned about damaging something using any more force so wanted to check that theres no sneaky circlips or anything in there holding it on.
Thanks, nick
Believe it or not ive
Believe it or not ive actually had to make a puller to get wiper arms of from the tapered stud there so darn tight on cars, factory fitted they dont believe in copper slip and doo the nut so tight it pulls it up then corodes.

A blow torch will normally
A blow torch will normally break the corrosion and do the job in seconds, You are going to repaint the arms anyway so now worries about the heat on the paint, just watch the plastic scuttle panel.
cant do that on someone elses
