is very loud though when it sucks in the air does anyone else have this problem i dont really no how to cure it though maybe a smaller filter? any light shed on this would be great.

Do you have the blitz
Do you have the blitz stainless filter by chance? Mine does a lot of the air sucking noises and is quite loud. Got use to it after a while but after the wisdom from obi-wan-munnsy looking to change to something else.
