Anyone know how to remove the trim from drivers door so I can work on the door central locking motor

Forum:

The car is a Daihatsu Copen 700cc

I have removed the screw from the inside door catch and the 2 screws from the inside door handle...........

What else is holding the door inside panel to the door?

I don't want to break anything..........

If it's anything like the

If it's anything like the YRV, then it's the door handle and the screw inside of the door puller. Then at the bottom of the trim there are 3 access holes where the bottom clips are. Your best using something like a Halfords laser trim removal tool, and you have to prise away the 3 bottom clips. Once they are done then you can work your way up pulling the trim to remove the other clips. On the YRV that caught me out is that the top of the trim is hindged where the side window is, and therefore once you are happy you have the remaining clips released, you will need to push the trim upwards for that bit to come off.
