Sportrak Rock Sliders

Forum:

I've used my stock sportrak off road at my nearest site Baldhu, in Cornwall. I've been careful enough not to damage it but am worried about future use. Some rock sliders seem to be one of the best things to invest in, to protect the car, but being a sportrak, there aren't many around. I've found 2 and hoped you could help be decide between them.

The first is the from bloodred offroad, and is the more expensive of the two, at £170 + shipping. These have 2 attachment points and include a side guard/tree slider.

The other I found on ebay, at £95 + £23 shipping these are considerably cheaper, and look tougher, but there is no tree slider rail.

I would really appreciate some advice, on wether these are what I should be investing in before anything else (limited budget means it's going to have to be one step at a time) and if so are the tree sliders worth the extra money.

Thank you very much in advance,

Tully

the ones from dave(bloodred)

the ones from dave(bloodred) will be best.
they have the tree slider to push the truck away from trees so should save on some upper body damage plus the way they bolt on is better

Thanks all for you response,

Thanks all for you response, it seems like you're all for the bloodreds! Why do they bolt on better though, they do no have the centre attachment like the ebay ones do?

Thanks again.

as they spread the waight

as they spread the waight around the chassis.
the other ones just bolt into the chassis and have no spreader plates on the inside unless the ad is not showing them.

you get what you pay for with

you get what you pay for with everything!!!!
