The answer is yes
E-Bay specials;
Ford/Kit car battery tray and clamp
Quick release Battery Terminals.
Hardest part getting the new terminals on. Ended up cutting off the Jap Terminals and re-wiring to the new ones.
Best Bit;
Can go with a bigger Battery (Now a 53amp)
Worst Bit;
Battery weights heavier

Good stuff, can never have
Good stuff, can never have too much cranking power for the winter!
Although mine always starts within a second of cranking so even a puny battery does the job.
I have 2 batteries connected together,
Standard up front, and one in the boot.
A small 5kg Odyssey PC545 dry cell racing battery so can be mounted in any position and cant leak.
Both batteries work together.
Main reason is I had it lying around unused ready waiting for my GTti project, Although it's 8-10 year lifespan it's still better off in the YRV for the moment so it's kept fully charged.
Also i have a 10" amplified bass box, which is also connected to the battery in the boot.
Will take a photo.
