Have these on my YRV turbo for 3 years now. Only issue I found is that because you have to jam them into the window seals you can get noise in the cabin even with the window up.

Plenty on ebay for the 87-93 charade, can only buy fronts or rears or full set, not just one. Just make sure you get ones suited to 4 door charade, 3 door ones wont fit!

I've got some YRV ones off ebay, very good for £30.
Did you use the clips that push in the frame? If so these are what makes can the noise.
I took my clips off, not needed for the YRV. (i guess they just included them in all) My are held-in the channel by it's own tension, very firm and no noise.
