hi their guys, i have now got yet another fun problem... my track is now rattling the tits off of itself in all gears over 1000 rpm when engaged in 2wd.... anyone had this wee problem before?? lol, its really bad and is very noisy in fith at speed.... bit scared to drive it!!!!

i thought i had sent another message, it diddnt come through! i havnt sorted it, i was pointing out that i had to bump start the track the other day in 4wd as it was slippy and my bat had gone flat... could this be anything?? i also bumped it in 2wd also but was to slippy....??? does this shead any clues?... steve.

got any spare diffs, gearboxes etc? cos that I think was a very bad idea, something ive never seen done.

found it!!!!!
feel really stupid as i was only under the truck about a day or two ago and never noticed it!, the transferbox side of the rear prop shaft had a nut andbolt sheared right off and all the others were hanging, yes, HANGING off!! cany believe it! i think maybey when i bump started it i jolted the whole shaft loose and thus the damage started.... or it may have been an on-going thing.... smiling lots though!

I dont reccomend bump starts in 4wd too much cos of chewing the gearbox, 2wd fine, doo it in about 3rd gear.

Engine mount probably broken.
Get a big lever and check the engine mounts. If any is broken the engine will be unstable. The engine mount might look OK but if broken it sits looking very smug until you give it a lever.
Next check the prop shaft universals for wear - give them a good shake.
