I ONLY PAID 1100 FOR MY 99 TERIOS WITH 46000 MILES, IVE HAD IT TESTED AND I HAVE A HEAD GASKED FAILED TEST RESULT, IM TRYING SOME STEEL SEAL IN IT UNTIL I DECODE WHETHER ITS WORTH REPAIRING OR SCRAPPING, AND IF I DECIDE TO SELL WHERES THE BEST PLACE TO SELL IT AS ITS AN AUTOMATIC, 4 BRAND NEW TYRES, BRAND NEW FULL EXHAUST, I LOVE IT AND WOULD LIKE TO KEEP IT I JUST DONT KNOW WHEHTHER TO PUT THE MONEY IN, ALSO WHATS THE AVERAGE PRICE TO FIX A HEAD GASKET?
unknown
a head gasket job can cost up too what you paid for it these days cos of hourly costs head skimming and unknown issues you may find, new parts etc, so its up to you really, you could look to do an engine swop, sell it on ebay sold as seen.

2 simple ways
you can place cardboard infront of the radiator to block airflow, and I dont know the terios but im pretty certain you can be able to just unplug the cable out of the fan.

Cable.
Disconnect the positive cable from the fan. The fan will not work and the engine will over heat - possible blowing the cylinder head or totally warping the head. Not recommended.
Repair/renew cylinder head. try you boyfriend or your local garage. The big garages will be expensive so try a local 'one/two man' operation and get a WRITTEN quote before they start.
oh my god
your a bit hippocrytical mace!! this post you put dont remove fan feed, previous post you put doo remove fan feed...so which is it?? running a cold engine this time of year no fan for five minutes aint gonna make it detonate...oh and also water boils at about 96-97 degrees...not 100......geeeez
