hi guys i found my wheel on ebay for the yrv, mine are on the colt now but should be having my yrv tubo next week.

The listings for wheels are

The listings for wheels are only because they know what cars fit the various stud patterns, They have no actual experience of knowing what sizes actually fit a YRV.

Annoys me how many Wheel

Annoys me how many Wheel suppliers list Daihatsu's due to the stud pattern with no regard to offset and catching issues.

Me and Jon (Jpor) have done alot of messing about to get the right fit. The diameter is not that great a problem if you fit the right profile tyre to suit...its the offset and rim width J.

A 6j or 6.5j rim with 35mm offset is best with max 195 tyres. I've got 17's with 35mm offset 7j rim and 195x40 tyres but had to grind back a couple of mm's off the rear beam end...more of a weld clean up actualy. I would if i had the cash change to a 16" rim due to cheaper tyres and the availability of 6.5j rim widths not found in 17's...they are always 7j+.

Just to echo what Dave is

Just to echo what Dave is saying. At the moment I have manged to get away with ET38 wheels (Team Dynamic Race 3 in 17") and Toyo Tyres. Although the rears have got 5mm Hubcentric spacers, apart from that I have now turned down the stiffness on my rear AVOs and the ride is a lot better now :-)And upto now no more wheel arch rubbing as I was getting on my ET35 15" Wolfrace and Uniroyal tyres.

ill let you know if my wheels fit...

They do ride very firm, But

They do ride very firm, But half of the cause is the original 5J wheels and 175/55 tyres. Mine was much better once i fitted 5.5Jx15" with 195/50.

Also it doesnt help with the recommended tyre pressure being 34psi.

I have been running 30psi front and 28psi rear for a few weeks, and it feels pretty good. I guess my fuel economy would have dropped a tiny bit.
